Hair.Joey was very proud of his shaggy, messed up, dirty blonde hair. Not that he referred to the colour as dirty blonde when people asked (if they ever did, which they didn't), he always referred to it as 'sandy blonde'. He didnt refer to it as messed up either. He called it the stylish Ive-just-got-out-of-bed look, (which, most of the time, he just had, so the effect was genuine.) Nope, these strands that he almost constantly had to flick, or toss out of his face weren't annoying, so there was no need for him to have a hair cut. He liked his hair the way it was, and didnt plan to change it anytime soon.

Should Not Have Been The One.Who the hell do you think you are?
How dare you treat me like that!
You need to learn to show a girl some respect.
I wasn't expecting a big reaction.
Of course not.
But to be greeted like that.
Like; "Hi little heart, I'm Mr. Knife" *Stab.*
You made me so angry.
I felt so hurt.
Your friends and their reasons?
So bloody pathetic.
They're not even reasons.
Ever heard: book, cover, don't judge?
Or: real life, not the same as online?
No, I didn't think so.
They made me so angry.
It wouldn't've killed you.
It wouldn't've killed you to move away.
To come and see me.
It was that day I felt the spark fade.
Dim out to almost nothing.
There wasn't that much left before that day.
You were what I expected, possibly a little more.
Maybe not your mannerisms.
They're not what I wanted.
You were what I wanted.
I still love you.
I always will.
But I'm not in love with you.
You're not what I want.
I want, I deserve
So much better than that.
The Final StrawThat's it.
I've had it.
I won't let you treat me like this anymore.
I used to think that I was not worthy of you.
It turns out that you are not worthy of me.
I deserve better than this.
I don't have to put up with it anymore.
It's not worth it.
It's not worth it for what we've got.
Or should I say, what we haven't.
I'm sick and tired of doing all the work.
Trying to get back that spark, that flame.
Now I realise that it died, ages ago.
And, unlike the phoenix, won't ever burn again.
Not like it used to.
It's time to face the facts boy.
Put some effort into this.
Shape up your act.
Or, I'll be like that spark.

16. Questioning. So, basically, it all depends?
Yes, but you cant just write it all depends in the exam, you have to apply the theories to the context of the situation.
Oh, I get it.
And one last thing.
Ashely glanced up from where she was scribbling down notes. A lock of hair fell into her eyes and she glared angrily at it for a moment before pushing it behind her ear. What is it Locien?
The lilac-haired teen scratched the back of his ear and picked up his pen. You have to remember to relate the theory.
She frowned. Laymens terms?
After scanning the page of the textbook he was working from, Locien flipped the page over and frowned at the diagram on it. In Laymens terms, provide examples, the more personal the better, and relate back to the question.
Oh right. She rested her chin on the palm of her hand, and watched her companion copying down the same diagram he
5. Seeking Solace.Locien's Point Of View.
It's raining, cold and beginning to get dark, so a typical Winter's evening. I'm currently sitting in front of my fireplace on a beanbag with a hardback copy of Great Expectations in my lap and some soft, calming music on in the background. I can't remember what cd this is though, probably a chill out album. The songs are instrumental, so it must be. I find that some music is so much better without the words. This is one of my favourite past-times. It's so soothing when you're sat like this and the rain's pounding at the window.
I'm about half way through chapter 6 when it sounds like there's another pounding, and it certainly can't be the rain, this pounding's far too loud and sounds like it's on wood not glass. On wood? Is that the door then? I place my bookmark in my book and go to open the door.
Standing on my doorstep, soaking wet and in tears is Ashely, a friend of mine from college, a close friend as a matter of fact. She's shaking, and shivering.
